Beginning of the text of the Burgundian History

Hans Erhart Tüsch (also Hans Erhart Düsch; † 4th quarter of the 15th century or beginning of the 16th century) was the Strasbourg author of the Burgundian history and three smaller poems.

Very little is known of his biography. In 1460 he gave up his citizenship in Strasbourg. In 1475, however, two letters - to his wife Eva and to Jakob Ber from Strasbourg - prove that he was a participant in the Strasbourg contingent during the Burgundian Wars . In addition, according to Schneider, he also wrote letters in at least one other volume of correspondence in the Strasbourg City Archives (AA 274). After 1482 there are no evidence of life.
