Hans Holba

Hans Holba (born January 17, 1914 in Spandau ; † September 9, 1998 ) was a German politician and member of the state parliament ( SPD ).

Life and work

After attending primary and secondary school , he completed an apprenticeship as a machine fitter and boat builder . In 1932 he was in the Reichswehr . After military service and imprisonment , he worked in the construction industry from 1947 . In 1948 he became a municipal employee and later a municipal official.

From 1948 he was a member of the SPD and active in numerous party bodies. In 1948 he became a member of the public services, transport and traffic union .

During a vacation stay in 1998 he died suddenly and unexpectedly for his family in Ruhpolding.

The burial took place in the main cemetery in Dortmund.

From July 21, 1962 to July 25, 1970, Holba was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia . He was directly elected in constituencies 110 and 113 Dortmund V.
