Hans Judenfeind
Hans Judenfeind or Judensint from Speyer was a 15th century poet. Only one saying is known from him, at the end of which he states that he wrote “a lot more”. The poem refers to the Burgundian governor of Charles the Bold, Peter von Hagenbach , who aroused general outrage in the cities because of his violence in Alsace and Baden and was executed on May 9, 1474. The poet, a supporter of the cities against the "lords", cheers about the end of the bailiff.
According to the suggestion of Klaus Graf in 1991, which Frieder Schanze joined, Judenfint (Jew enemy) should be read instead of Judensint.
