Hans Kern (politician, 1933)

Hans Kern (* 29. January 1933 in Wipperfürth ) is a German politician of the SPD .

education and profession

Hans Kern passed the Abitur in 1953. He studied mathematics, physics and computer science at the University of Cologne and passed the first and second state exams. Most recently he was the director of studies and head of the upper secondary school at the comprehensive school in Kierspe. From 1961 to 1983 he worked as a part-time lecturer at the preparatory college at the University of Cologne.

politics

Hans Kern has been a member of the SPD since 1967. From 1969 to 1975 he was parliamentary group chairman in the council of the municipality of Klüppelberg and from 1970 to 1975 a member of the district council in Bergisch Gladbach. He was a member of the district assembly in Gummersbach from 1975 to 1979 and from 1979 to 1992 parliamentary group chairman in the council of the city of Wipperfürth. From 1988 he acted as chairman of the Oberberg district association of workers' welfare (AWO).

Hans Kern was from 30 May 1985 to 1 June 2000 at directly elected member of the 10th , 11th and 12th state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia , for the constituency 025 Oberbergischer Kreis I .
