Hans Krasensky

Hans Krasensky (born July 2, 1903 in Vienna ; † November 15, 2006 ) was an Austrian business educator .

Life

Hans Krasensky was full professor for banking studies from 1951 to 1973 and at the same time professor for business education at the University of World Trade from 1951 to 1971 .

Krasensky is considered a pioneer in business education at the Vienna University of Economics and Business . In the early sixties he was already involved in the development of leasing and real estate investment funds . As early as 1935, the author of numerous publications published the work "Basic features of business education, developed from the subject of business administration".

In addition to his academic work, Krasensky was also the managing director of the Austrian Bank Science Society and the Austrian Institute for Savings Bank Research. He always advocated the integration of general education and vocational training and, at the same time , promoting this request through educational policy measures in Austria .
