Hans Litschauer

Hans Litschauer (born November 2, 1925 in Heidenreichstein ; † December 3, 2005 there ) was an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ) and Chamber Director. Litschauer was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament from 1959 to 1964 and from 1969 to 1975 .

Life

Litschauer attended elementary and secondary school and then graduated from the Waidhofen an der Thaya secondary school . In 1943 he was drafted into the Reich Labor Service , and from 1943 he had to do his military service during the Second World War. He was taken prisoner by the Soviets, from which he did not return until 1947. After the war Litschauer studied law at the University of Vienna and received his doctorate in 1952. He subsequently worked as a club secretary from 1953 and became an employee of the Lower Austria Chamber of Labor in 1955. In 1959 he took over the management of the economics department, and between 1965 and 1984 he held the function of chamber director.

Litschauer represented the SPÖ from June 4, 1959 to November 19, 1964 and from November 20, 1969 to December 31, 1975 in the Lower Austrian state parliament.
