Hans Ludwig (politician, 1932)

Hans Ludwig (born August 1, 1932 in Vienna , † August 16, 2000 in Steinbrunn , Zillingtal ) was an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ) and SPÖ district party secretary. Ludwig was a member of the National Council from 1984 to 1990 .

After elementary school, Ludwig attended secondary school and then learned the trade of leather gallantist. He was an employee of the ÖGB from 1951 to 1964 , then worked from 1964 to 1965 as a press officer for the Bank for Labor and Economics, and in 1965 he moved to the ÖGB publishing house and the Institute for Empirical Social Research as a manager. From 1972 Ludwig worked as the district secretary of the SPÖ in Vienna- Favoriten . Ludwig became involved in politics early on and was deputy chairman of the Austrian Federal Youth Association from 1958 to 1964. Between 1973 and 1984 he was a member of the Vienna State Parliament and City Council and between 1974 and 1984 he was Deputy Chairman of the Vienna State Sports Council. Ludwig represented the SPÖ from September 13, 1984 to November 4, 1990 in the National Council.
