The Diocese of Presidente Prudente ( Latin Dioecesis Prudentipolitana , Portuguese Diocese de Presidente Prudente ) is in Brazil located Roman Catholic diocese , based in Presidente Prudente in the state of São Paulo .

history

The diocese Presidente Prudente was on January 16, 1960 by Pope John XXIII. Established with the Apostolic Constitution Cum venerabilis from cessions of territory by the Diocese of Assis and subordinated to the Archdiocese of Botucatu as a suffragan .
