Hans Ludwig Sleeper

Hans Ludwig Schläfer (born May 5, 1923 in Frankfurt am Main ; † August 22, 1969 there ) was a German chemist ( theoretical chemistry , complex chemistry ). He was a professor at the Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main .

Schläfer received his doctorate in 1950 in Frankfurt (on the light absorption of complex ions of trivalent titanium) and completed his habilitation there in 1955. He worked for Hermann Hartmann in Frankfurt , where he became an adjunct professor in 1962, associate professor in 1964 and full professor in 1965.

In 1962 he received the Prize for Chemistry from the Göttingen Academy of Sciences .
