Hans Michael Maus

Hans Michael Maus (born August 12, 1943 in Wiesbaden ) is a German politician ( SPD ) and former member of the Hessian state parliament .

Life

Hans Michael Maus attended secondary school from 1950 to 1958 and then completed an apprenticeship as a lathe operator until 1961. During his apprenticeship he obtained the technical college entrance qualification on the second educational path. From 1963 he did a Refa training and from 1969 to 1972 he worked as a technical employee. From 1972 to 1998 Maus was chairman of the works council.

Act

Maus has been a member of the SPD since 1969. From 1975 to 1981 he was a member of the board of the SPD local association Westend-Bleichstrasse. From 1977 to 1991 he was a city councilor for Wiesbaden. In the 1991 state election he was elected to the Hessian state parliament for the first time in the Wiesbaden III constituency, to which he belonged until the end of the 15th electoral term on April 4, 2003. From 1995 to 1999 he was deputy chairman of the Committee on Women, Labor and Social Affairs, of which he had been a member since 1991. He was also a member of the Economic and Technical Committee from 1991 to 1999 and of the Social Policy Committee from 1999 to 2003. He is also chairman of the supervisory board of GENO50 Baugenossenschaft eG in Wiesbaden .
