The Hans Oeschger Medal is a prize in geosciences, usually awarded annually by the European Geosciences Union (EGU).
The award was introduced in 2002 by the European Geophysical Society (EGS). After its merger with the European Union of Geosciences (EUG) in 2003, the award has been made by the resulting EGU in the "Climate: Past, Present and Future" section.
