Hans Trees

Johann Peter Trees (called Hans ) (born July 4, 1925 in Engers ; † October 23, 2005 in Neuwied ) was a German civil servant and politician ( SPD ).

Life

Trees attended elementary school and the Neuwied commercial school. Then he did a commercial apprenticeship and passed the clerk examination. He then worked as a commercial clerk and did Reich Labor Service and military service from 1943 to 1945 . 1945–1966 he was an employee or civil servant at the Neuwied employment office. In 1951 he passed the second administrative examination and attended the Academy of Labor in Frankfurt am Main and the Administrative Academy in Koblenz from 1952 to 1953 . 1966–1970 he was deputy director, 1961 head of the employment agency at the Neuwied employment office and 1964 director of the Neuwied employment office, most recently with the title of chief administrative inspector.

politics

In 1946 Trees became a member of the SPD. He was in the party local association chairman, 1947 member of the SPD district executive, 1952-1970 chairman of the SPD district association Neuwied and 1956 member of the board of the SPD district Rhineland / Hessen-Nassau. 1946–1952 he was honorary managing director of the SPD district association Neuwied. In 1969 he became chairman of the SPD sub-district Neuwied-Altenkirchen and in 1974 a member of the SPD party council. In the youth organization of the SPD he was deputy chairman of the Jusos Rheinland / Hessen-Nassau and a member of the state committee of the Jusos Rheinland-Pfalz.

In terms of local politics, he was a member of the Neuwied district council from 1952. 1964–1974 he was first district deputy, 1974–1979 second district deputy, 1979 first district deputy as political representative of the district administrator and from 1981–1983 entrusted with the management of official business.

1956–1964 he was an official representative and official member of the Engers office and 1956–1964 member of the office. 1960–1966 he was a member of the city council of Engers and 1960–1964 first deputy and 1964–1969 honorary mayor of the city of Engers. From 1966 to 1968 he was the mayor of Engers.

In the years 1971–1990 he was full-time mayor or first alderman of the city of Neuwied .

On November 1, 1959, he replaced Elfriede Seppi in the Rhineland-Palatinate state parliament . In the 1959 election he was re-elected to the state parliament, to which he was a member until the end of the 5th electoral term in 1967. In the state parliament he was a member of the social policy committee. In 1964 he was a member of the 4th Federal Assembly .
