The panels on an altar in the Göttingen Church of St. Albani from 1499 are the only complex of works whose authenticity has been proven. They show eight scenes from the life of the Virgin Mary , as well as the martyrdom of St. Alban and the Last Judgment on the outer wings. This work is in the context of the Passion Altar by Hans Raphon , which was created at the same time for the Pauline Church in Göttingen , today exhibited as a major work of German late Gothic in the National Gallery in Prague.
