Panel from the Passion Altar from 1499

His most important work, a passion altar with 41 panels, was started in 1499 on behalf of the Göttingen Pauliner Church and moved to the Walkenried monastery during the Reformation . Today it is in the National Gallery in Prague. Another important work is the winged altar in the choir of St. Marien zu Heiligenstadt ( Eichsfeld ), dated to the year 1512. A winged altar (around 1500) for the collegiate church of St. Alexandri zu Einbeck is now in the Hanover State Museum. In the same museum a single altar wing of the Jodokus shrine from 1507 from the monastery church Reinhausen is kept; the counterpart and a former second pair of wings are no longer preserved. From 1502 to 1508 Raphon was dean at St. Alexandri Monastery in Einbeck .
