Hans von Schlieben

Hans von Schlieben († 1599 / 1601 ) was governor of Lower Lausitz and owners of Vetschau .

He is not identical with Hans von Schlieben auf Pulsnitz , his uncle, who was imperial councilor and governor of Upper Lusatia .

Life

Hans von Schlieben was the son of Eustachius von Schlieben , Brandenburg electoral councilor and governor of Zossen. He inherited the Seese and Vetschau estates with other associated villages from his father . In 1592 he was appointed governor of Niederlausitz, on May 6, 1599 he asked to be dismissed from office. The date of his death is unknown. On May 5, 1601, his goods were divided among the descendants in a loan letter .
