Hansjörg Döpp

Hansjörg Döpp (born May 3,  1940 ) is a German basketball official and player.

Life

Döpp played with DJK TuSA 08 Düsseldorf from 1966 to 1969 for three years in the newly founded basketball league . In the season 1966/67 he reached fourth place with the Rhinelander in the northern season of the Bundesliga.

From 1970 to 1989 Döpp was chairman of the West German Basketball Association (WBV) and was then appointed honorary chairman of the WBV. In August 1990 Döpp was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit.

From 1990 to 2006 Döpp was managing director of the Association of the Metal and Electrical Industry in North Rhine-Westphalia .
