Har Gilo ( Hebrew הר גילה) is an Israeli settlement in the West Bank with 1,452 inhabitants (2016). It is located between the Palestinian cities of Al Walaja and Beit Jala , 5 kilometers south of Jerusalem.

In 1994, Har Gilo had 387 residents. The settlement was founded in 1972 and belongs to the Gush Etzion settlement group . It was named after the biblical place Gilo (Joshua 15:51), which was here in the mountains of Judas .
