Hara Seghira Synagogue

The Hara Seghira Synagogue on Djerba , an island on the east coast of Tunisia , was built in the 1930s. The secular synagogue in the village of Er-Riadh, a few kilometers southwest of Houmt Souk , was the place of worship for the Sephardic community. The building has been empty for years and is visibly deteriorating.
