Harald Immig

Harald Immig is a German songwriter , painter and poet .

Immig grew up on the Hohenstaufen near Göppingen , where he still lives in his parents' house, which was built in 1740. There he runs a gallery in which he sells his watercolors of landscapes and flowers as well as calendars with his own watercolors. He is known as a singer of cheerful, poetic and contemplative songs, mainly in Swabian dialect. He performs many of his appearances together with the mezzo-soprano and guitarist Ute Wolf and the mandolinist Klaus Wuckelt . In addition, Immig z. Partly self-illustrated volumes of poetry.

Awards

Immig is, among other things, the winner of “ Songs on a Summer Evening ”. He was also awarded the environmental protection prize of the city of Göppingen.
