Harald Marx (psychologist)

Harald Marx (* 1947 ) is a German psychologist .

Marx studied psychology and philosophy at the University of Mannheim and the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen between 1968 and 1975 . From 1979 he worked as a research assistant at the University of Marburg, from 1986 at the University of Bielefeld. Harald Marx received his doctorate in 1982 and habilitation in 1992 .

In 1992 he became showing half the Department of Instructional Psychology of the Pedagogical University of Erfurt / Mulhouse , moved that same year to the University of Bielefeld, where he the Chair of Educational Psychology represented.

In 1999 he was appointed professor at the University of Leipzig , where he held the chair for psychology in schools and classes. From 2002 to July 2010 he was also Dean of the Faculty of Education at the University of Leipzig. In 2012 Marx retired .
