Harald New Year

Harald Neujahr (born July 26, 1937 in Wesermünde ) is a German educator and politician ( FDP ). He was a member of the Bremen citizenship .

biography

Family, education and work

New Year studied pedagogy. After completing his teaching degree, he taught at schools in Bremerhaven and was most recently director of studies at Lloyd-Gymnasium Bremerhaven .

New Year lives in Bremerhaven- Leherheide .

politics

Neujahr is a member of the FDP and a member of the district executive committee of the FDP-Bremerhaven; for many years he was chairman of the FDP district of Bremerhaven.

Neujahr was a member of the Bremen citizenship at various times, namely in the 10th legislative period from December 27, 1979 to 1983 as a replacement for Heinz Illgner and then again as Bremerhaven's FDP top candidate from 1987 to 1995. From 1991 to 1995 he acted as a deputy FDP - Chairman of the faction and was chairman of the citizenship data committee.

From 1995 to 2007 the FDP was not represented in the citizenry. Neujahr was then active as a deputy for the fishing port in the 17th legislative period.
