Harald Riedl

Harald Riedl (born August 18, 1961 in Bad Aussee ) is an Austrian eventing rider .

The trained car mechanic was Austrian national champion in 1982 with Heiko . At the World Equestrian Games in Stockholm in 1990 , he finished 30th with Jolly Jumbo . In 2001 Riedl became national champion for the second time with Earl Pat . At the World Equestrian Games in Jerez in 2002 , he finished 38th with Earl Pat . In 2004 Riedl took part in the Olympic Games in Athens and was 58th in the individual and 13th with the Austrian team. However, his horse Foxy XX tested positive during the doping control . Riedl's individual ranking was canceled and he was suspended for three months. At the 2006 World Equestrian Games in Aachen, Riedl and Davigna reached tenth place with the Austrian team.
