Harald Serowski

Harald Serowski (born October 7, 1929 in Berlin ; † November 9, 2005 there ) was a German set designer for GDR television .

Career

During World War II , Harald Serowski learned technical drawing in Heinkel's aircraft factory . After the war he worked as a theater painter and assistant set designer at the Berlin State Opera . Later he started working in the animation studio of the German TV broadcaster of the GDR . He became known for his countless models for the program Our Sandman . They were characterized by loving and imaginative details. 1991 ended his participation in television. Harald Serowski then developed numerous models of vaguely traditional aircraft for the Otto Lilienthal Museum .
