The Harbor Glacier is a 5 km long and 2.5 km wide kargletscher in the northwest of Wiencke Island in the West Antarctic Palmer Archipelago . It flows north-west to Lockley Bay , which it reaches 1.5 km east of Noble Peak .
He was probably discovered during the Belgica expedition (1897-1899) of the Belgian polar explorer Adrien de Gerlache de Gomery . Geodesists of the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey mapped it and named it in 1944. It is named after its geographical proximity to Port Lockroy (English port and harbor are synonymous and translate as ' port ').
