Hardwareluxx ( HWLUXX ) is a German-language online magazine operated by Hardwareluxx Media GmbH , based in Hanover . By 2012, a magazine called Hardwareluxx [printed] was also published.
history
Hardwareluxx Media was founded in December 2000 and since then has been running Hardwareluxx, an online magazine about computer hardware. According to statistics from big-boards.com, the affiliated Community Forum de Luxx was the largest platform of its kind in the German language in 2009 . From 2005 onwards, the company published a magazine called Hardwareluxx [printed] , which appeared four times a year . This was discontinued in March 2012 because the number of print runs and advertising customers steadily decreased. When the magazine was discontinued, the focus was placed on the online magazine. This is now available in four different languages and has a reach of 2.1 million visitors per month.

The magazine is aimed primarily at PC enthusiasts and high-end users. Readers generally have a basic understanding of how to use computers . Therefore, more complex issues, tests for high-end products and detailed instructions are published.
