Harm-Uwe Weber

Harm-Uwe Weber (born May 12, 1958 in Leer (East Friesland) ) is a German local politician . The social democrat was district administrator in the Aurich district from 2011 to October 31, 2019 .

Career

Weber studied law at the Universities of Freiburg and Münster from 1978 to 1984 . In 1987 he passed the 2nd state examination. First he worked as a research assistant at the University of Münster and as a legal department head at the Weser-Ems district government .

In 1991 he moved to the district of Aurich, where he was elected district director and general representative of the senior district director in 1993 . In 1998 the first and in 2006 the second re-election to the First District Council took place . In the direct election to the district's main administrative officer in 2011, he received 45.88 percent of the vote.

Weber has been married since 1987 and has three children. His father was a member of the state parliament and district administrator Harm Weber .
