Harpagos (Persia)
Harpagos ( Persian : هارپاگ Hārpāg [ hɔːrˈpɔːg ]), Latin Harpagus , was a Persian general who lived during the Ionian Uprising from 500 to 493 BC. Led the Persian troops. He took 493 BC Chr. Histiaeus , the tyrant of Miletus , caught and had him executed.
