The Harper peak is 785 m (according to British specifications 835 m ) high mountain on the north coast of South Georgia . It rises east of Fortuna Peak and Fortuna Bay .
The mountain was probably named in the course of surveys by scientists from the British Discovery Investigations between 1926 and 1930. His name appears for the first time in 1931 on a map of the British Admiralty . It is named after F. H. Harper, who at that time was a member of the advisory committee for Discovery Investigations.
