The Harrison Nunatak is a snow-covered nunatak with rocky outcrops at the southeastern end in the extreme southeast of Thurston Island off the Eights coast of the west Antarctic Ellsworthland . It rises 6.5 km south of the Savage Glacier .

It was discovered in February 1960 during helicopter flights from the USCGC Burton Island and the USS Glacier as part of the United States Navy research trip to the Bellingshausen Sea . The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 1960 after Henry Turner Harrison Jr. (1903-1991), meteorologist for the Weather Bureau on the Byrd Antarctic Expedition (1928-1930).
