Harry Bromley Davenport

Harry Bromley Davenport (born March 15, 1950 in London ) is a British director, film producer and screenwriter .

Life

Bromley Davenport made his directorial debut in 1976 with the film Whispers of Fear , for which he also wrote the screenplay. For the 1977 film Julias Unheimliche Wiederkehr , directed by Richard Loncraine , he was involved in the script development based on a novel by Peter Straub . 1982 followed with X-Tro: Not all extraterrestrials are friendly! his second and most famous film. As with his debut, he also composed the film music. Bromley Davenport then staged the two loose sequels Xtro II - The Second Encounter (1990) and X-Tro 3 (1995). The latter was the first film for which he was also responsible for the production and for which he worked for the first time with the screenwriter Daryl Haney . This was followed by seven more feature films and most recently the documentary American Grand in 2013 .
