Harry Ellbracht (born September 13, 1953 in Kamen ) is a former German soccer player . He played 113 Bundesliga games and scored a total of 29 goals as a striker .

Career

Ellbracht played in the youth team of the Kamener SC. In 1975 he moved to VfL Bochum , for whom he scored 4 goals in 21 Bundesliga appearances. Almost two years later he joined 1. FC Saarbrücken in October 1976 , where he played 60 games between 1976 and 1978 and scored 12 goals. 58 appearances were made in the Bundesliga. Here he was nicknamed "Stolper-Harry" by the audience because of his numerous missed opportunities . From summer 1978 to November 1979 he played for Arminia Bielefeld in the Bundesliga and the 2nd Bundesliga North; he came to 26 missions in which he scored 6 goals. From December 1979 to the summer of 1981 he played in the Bundesliga with TSV 1860 Munich . There he scored 4 goals in 14 games. In the seasons 1983/1984 and 1984/1985 he played in the Oberliga Westfalen for SC Eintracht Hamm , among others together with Josef Kaczor . In 1984 he was runner-up in the Westphalia League with Eintracht Heesen and reached the final of the German amateur soccer championship , which was lost to the Offenburg FV with 1: 4 in Offenburg.
