Harry Sukman
Harry Sukman (born December 2, 1912 in Chicago , Illinois , † December 2, 1984 in Palm Springs , California ) was an American composer who made a name for himself in particular with film music .
Awards
Sukman received in 1961 the Oscar for the film only few are chosen in the category Best Original Score . He was nominated for this award two more times: in 1962 for Fanny and in 1967 for Dominique - The Singing Nun .
