Hartmut "Happe" Haupt (born March 9, 1945 in Kemnat ) is a former German football player.

Career

Hartmut Haupt made the leap from the youth of the Stuttgarter Kickers to the men's division in 1963 and made his debut in the second-rate Regionalliga Süd in the away game against SpVgg Fürth on December 1, 1963 . He played a total of 29 games for the Stuttgarter Kickers and scored three goals. On October 17, 1965, he made his last game for the Kickers and emigrated to Spain. When he returned to Germany he tried to make his comeback under Georg Wurzer in the 1968/69 season, but he did not succeed. Instead, the native Kemnater played for TSF Esslingen in the following season .

Later he was drawn to the artistic scene in Paris and Saint-Paul-de-Vence and made contacts with singers and actors such as Gilbert Bécaud , Yves Montand and Curd Jürgens . Haupt later hosted the “Zille” bar in Stuttgart.
