Hartmut H. Boehmer
Hartmut Henning Boehmer (born May 10, 1941 ; † June 15, 2013 in Bad Hersfeld ) was a non-party German local politician.
Career
Boehmer was mayor of the Hessian district town Bad Hersfeld from 1978 to 1989 and again from 1996. In 2010 he resigned prematurely due to illness. During his tenure, the former company premises of Schilde AG were redesigned to Schilde-Park, the spa gardens were renovated and the train station was rebuilt. He was also a great sponsor of the Bad Hersfeld Festival and the veterans' meeting of the SS Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler , which took place annually in Bad Hersfeld from 1981 to 1983.
