Hartmut Koehler

Hartmut H. Koehler (born before 1970) is a German biologist and professor of soil ecology and general ecology at the University of Bremen .

From 1970 Koehler studied chemistry and education in Erlangen, Göttingen and Bremen. He also studied at the University of California at Santa Barbara . In Göttingen he graduated on the food spectrum and metabolism of two carabids of the Solling, Pterostichus oblongopunctatus (F.) and Pterostichus metallicus (F.) . 1984 followed the doctorate at the University of Bremen. In 1994 he was awarded the Berninghausen Prize for excellent teaching and innovation . In 1997 he received the Venia legendi in ecology.

Hartmut Koehler teaches biology courses at the University of Bremen and is significantly involved in the ReviTec project at UFT Bremen.
