Hartmut Müller-Kinet

Hartmut Müller-Kinet (born December 13, 1938 in Frankfurt am Main ; † May 25, 2003 ) was a German historian and State Secretary.

biography

Hartmut Müller-Kinet studied history, German studies and political science in Frankfurt am Main, Heidelberg and Vienna and received his doctorate in 1975 with a thesis on "The highest jurisdiction in the German Confederation (1806 to 1866)" . He then initially worked as a research assistant for the Hessian CDU parliamentary group. In 1987 Müller-Kinet took over the management of the ministerial office in the Hessian Ministry of Education, and later of the policy department. He became State Secretary of State for Hesse in 1999 and held this office until his death. Müller-Kinet belonged to the CDU.
