Harutaka Ōno ( Japanese 大野 敏隆 , Ōno Harutaka ; born May 12, 1978 in Saitama Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

career

Harutaka Ōno began playing football during elementary school where he played for the Maebashi Junior club , then for the team at Nankitsu Middle School in Maebashi, and finally at the Maebashi Commercial High School. After graduating from high school, he was hired by the first division club Kashiwa Reysol in 1997 , for whom he played until 2005, where he was loaned to Kyoto Purple Sanga in 2003 and to Nagoya Grampus Eight in 2004. He then came to Tokyo Verdy , where he also ended his career in 2008.

With the Japanese U-20 national team , he qualified for the 1997 World Youth Championship . He was also a member of the Olympic team (U-23) for the Sydney Summer Games .
