The Harvey Islands comprise two islands off the coast of the East Antarctic Enderbyland . They are located in the western part of Freeth Bay .
Aerial photographs of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions from 1956 were used for their mapping. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named it after Ross Lawrence Harvey, a radio operator on Wilkes Station in 1959.
