history

The idea for this facility for nude sports came up around 2008. The promoter was initially the owner of the campsite in Dankerode . Since 2009, the route has been prepared for hiking and signposted and adapted to the special conditions of the naked hikers (thorns and nettles were removed). The official but informal release took place at the end of May 2010. In 2011 the route was extended; the owner of the campsite in Dankerode withdrew from the project after permanent campers had left his campsite because of the nude hikers.

Another nude hiking trail in the Lüneburg Heath was marked in 2017 with the Naturist Trail Undeloh .
