Hasan Dewran

Hasan Dewran (* 1958 in Tunceli , Turkey ) is a German-Turkish writer who writes in German , Turkish and Zazaisch .

Life

Dewran comes from a family of Alevi clergymen. He started writing poetry as a child. After graduating from high school in Turkey, he went to the Federal Republic of Germany in 1977 and, after studying psychology, worked for the Evangelical Church as a therapist for several years .

The father of three children has been a resident psychotherapist since 1995.

In the literary field he works as a poet and aphorist . Already his first publications Along the Euphrates (1983) or Tausend Winde - ein Sturm (1988) received attention in the German media. Sometimes Dewran's pictorial, condensed language is compared with the Nazim Hikmets . With Feuer since Zarathustra (1992) the poet published further "Poems, Aphorisms and a Lyric Fairy Tale". Mit Wildnis im Herzen (1998) is his last independent book publication in German for the time being. Recently, two audio books with texts by Dewran have been published.
