Hasan Nallbani
Hasan Nallbani (born May 15, 1934 in Berat ) is an Albanian painter .
life and work
Hasan Nallbani studied at the Jordan Misja Art School in Tirana from 1949 and worked as a set designer at the National Theater of Tirana from 1954 to 1959 . From 1959 to 1964 he studied with Guri Madhi at the University of the Arts in Tirana . He paints landscapes and portraits. In 1968 he was awarded the third prize at Letter from Headquarters . In 2008 he was voted the best visual artist of the year and in 2010 he received the Onufri Prize .
In 1984 a solo exhibition was organized for Nallbani in the Galeria Kombëtare e Arteve . In 2017 he showed the painting The Action Worker (1966), a work of Albanian socialist realism at documenta 14 .
