Rabbit suit

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A hare suit , also hare quack, is a whistle that imitates the croaking wail of an injured hare or wild rabbit caught or grabbed by a predatory game . The hare's cry is similar to that of a screaming child.

The call of the loudly complaining hare attracts predatory game like foxes , martens or ermines , but also poaching dogs and cats that the hunter tries to kill, especially on cold winter nights .

The enticing instrument Hasenklage is made of wood and is regularly combined with a mouse whistle . The mouse whistle is used to imitate the whistling of the mice , which also attracts predatory game.
