Do you have nerve is an entertainment show produced by Gebhardt Productions on behalf of the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation , which is based on the principle of the hidden camera .

Due to poor audience ratings, the show was discontinued after the first season.

Broadcast principle

The principle of the television broadcast Do you have nerves? consists of showing the audience three short films with celebrities , who serve as decoys, and one of their fans , in which the fan was involuntarily made the protagonist - following the principle of the hidden camera . He is made to believe in advance that he has won a meet and greet with the celebrity, which is why he usually gladly complies with the often strange requests of the celebrities. The celebrity, on the other hand, is privy to the situation, but does not exactly know the history of the situation. In order to be able to control the scene from behind the scenes, the celebrity wears an invisible radio receiver in his ear, through which he receives instructions from Werner Sobotka . By influencing the scene through this “man in the ear”, not only the unsuspecting fan but also the celebrity is surprised and, through the mostly bizarre requests, should show how far he wants to go - how much nerve he has.

Shipment structure

At the beginning of the program, the presenter Mirjam Weichselbraun welcomes three celebrities, each with a fan , whereby the fan is first introduced in a video clip. All three short films will then be shown in sequence and the protagonists will be asked about their experiences. Finally, the studio audience judges all three films by voting. The fan whose short film has won receives a prize at the end of the program.
