Hastière-Lavaux
Hastière-Lavaux ( Walloon Li Vå-dlé-Astire ) is a village in the Belgian municipality of Hastière in the province of Namur in the Walloon region .
The Meuse flows south of Hastière-Lavaux , on the left bank of which lies the village, which is spanned here by the Hastière-Lavaux bridge. The district covers an area of 10.68 km².
Hastière-Lavaux was an independent municipality and became part of Hastière municipality as part of a municipal reform in 1977. The Saint Nicolas Church is located in the village.
Personalities
The Dutch painter and sculptor Hans Bayens (1924–2003) was born in Hastière-Lavaux.
