Hatta is a city in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh . Hatta is located in the east of the state and is part of the Bundelkhand region .
The city is part of the Damoh District . Hatta has municipal council status . The city is divided into 15 wards . On the cut-off date of the 2011 census it had 32,465 inhabitants, of which 17,141 were men and 15,324 women. Hindus make up the majority of the city's population with a share of over 85%. The literacy rate in 2011 was 84.74%, well above the national average.
