description

The property with a previous building was bought on December 10, 1708 by Johanna Dorothea Kanderbach, wife of the royal bailiff George Hans Kanderbach. In 1710, the "ship mill" was built as a four-story house by Georg Haase . The facade on Galeriestrasse was four axes wide, while the facade on Frauenstrasse was eight axes wide. There were two two-story bay windows on the facade facing Frauenstrasse, under which the two main entrances to the house were located. The decoration was based on the model of the house at 14 Frauenkirche .
