House 5 (LVR Clinic Düren)

The House 5 stands on the site of the LVR Clinic in Düren in North Rhine-Westphalia .
The house was built in 1900 as a preservation house.
The three-wing brick building is built on two floors. The building has a three-storey central projection with a four-storey staircase tower pulled forward. The red brick facade has yellow brick inlays. The window axes are divided into nineteen by seven. The facades have both arched and arched windows. The cornice is designed as a console frieze , the eaves as a round arch frieze. The flat roof has a large overhang on visible profiled beam heads.
The building is registered under No. 1 / 001g in the list of monuments of the city of Düren.
The building is, among other things, the location for the docudrama Fritz Lang - The Other In Us by Gordian Maugg , which will be shown in cinemas in early 2016.
