Haus Bisping is a moated castle near Rinkerode in the Münsterland , a district of Drensteinfurt .

Today only parts of the moat and the gatehouse from 1651 are preserved. The gatehouse reveals the design of red brick and yellow sandstone reveals of the windows , which is often found in the Münsterland .

The von Galen family had owned the palace since the 16th century, and the Münster prince-bishop Christoph Bernhard von Galen was born there.

The completely preserved moated castle Haus Borg is within sight .
