Gaillard de Longjumeau is a family of the French nobility.

history

She first appeared in Blois with Mathurin Gaillard in the mid-15th century . His son Michel I. Gaillard rose to the "Général des Finances" of King Louis XI. and he managed to establish the family permanently in the French upper class. His son Michel II. Gaillard owned the Longjumeau estate , with which the family name was expanded. It is also alleged that he was actually the illegitimate son of René II , Duke of Lorraine , which gives his marriage to Souveraine d'Angoulême, an illegitimate daughter of Charles d'Orléans , Count of Angoulême , a significantly different meaning got.

Lines of the Gaillard de Longjumeau family lived in Provence and (as exiles) in Switzerland until the 18th century.
