Charles de Valois, comte d'Angoulême
Charles d'Orléans (* 1459 ; † 1496 ) had been Count of Angoulême since 1467 . He was the son of Jean de Valois , Count of Angoulême and Périgord, and his wife Marguerite de Rohan.
Charles preferred to live at his castle in Cognac , where he was active as a patron of art and science. In 1490, by order of the regent Anne de Beaujeu , he married Princess Luise of Savoy , daughter of Duke Philip II of Savoy and Marguerite de Bourbon . Your children were:
